Mazda MPV Problem
The car may seem perfect but it also has defects and problems that need corrective
measures. Customer reports show occasional failure of the Bypass Air Control Valve
which needs a lot of money for repair and maintenance. Some models specifically
those produced for 1993 used the R12 refrigerant which is no longer available
in any car market products. To correct the problem, conversion to a new refrigerant
is done.
For 2000 models, defect in the powertrain control module is the cause of the
check engine light problem. The problem was checked for later models. A certain
recall was done regarding the incorrect tire-specification label posted on the
car's door. Some models do not have front supports which could endanger the car
especially in case of car collisions and accidents.
Another customer report also air out defects in the car's engine. The problem
started with the defect in alternator followed by the dysfunctional ABS. Numerous
repairs were done but still the problem was not solved. Investigation shows the
problem is caused by a grounded ECM. Recalls were done for this defect to inform
Mazda MPV users and buyers.
