1998 Mazda MPV
Few changes are done for the 1998 Mazda MPV. It came out in car market in 1989
and sold almost a quarter-million units. Until now it is still out in the road,
continuing Mazda's legacy to combine excellence, versatility and top-rated performance
in one car type.
LX and ES are the two standard trims, both available in two-wheel drive or four-wheel
drive. The sought-after four wheel drive boasts of its traction capabilities and
flexible passenger and cargo space. The famous two-wheel drive comes in lower
cost but smoother driving. Standard for both are the redesigned instrument panel,
CD player with cassette option add-on and a sticking oval badge with cool styled
M for Mazda.
Optional packages are offered for 1998. The All-Sport Package offers better performance
and look with styled grille guards and stone guards, polished five spoke alloy
wheels, adjustable roof rack and highly-functional fender flares. Improved handling
performance is provided by the Load Leveling Package that features a large cooling
fan and transmission oil cooler.
